About Us

Open Fire Dining Club is a flame-led supper club series, bringing some of the most exciting kitchens together in extraordinary outdoor settings.

Created by Manchester’s Finest — it’s an unforgettable dining experience built around collaboration and seasonality.

Creative Chef Collaborations

Each edition sees our resident chefs Tartuffe joined by a guest kitchen from Manchester, across the UK and beyond. Together they create a menu designed entirely for cooking over flame, where every dish is built around ingredients that respond best to smoke, heat and embers.

Tartuffe’s cooking provides the backbone of the series. Recently featured in Observer Food Monthly as part of a national spotlight on the new wave of rotisserie-led restaurants, the restaurant has earned a reputation for its refined yet playful approach to live-fire and rotisserie cooking — food that balances comfort with precision and generosity.

For Open Fire Dining Club they work shoulder-to-shoulder with each collaborator to shape the menu, bringing different styles and ideas together into something cohesive.

The Food

Expect bold, confident cooking. Ingredients chosen around seasonality and how they respond to heat.

It’s refined without being precious. Generous without being overworked. Six courses (plus a welcome snack), plated with care but designed to be enjoyed properly.

The Setting & Atmosphere

Our dinners unfold at Torr Vale Mill, a 200-year-old cotton mill nestled in a curve of the River Goyt on the edge of the Peak District. It’s less than half an hour from Manchester, yet you feel a world away once you’re there.

Guests arrive for welcome drinks. Music hums in the background. Chefs cook in full view. Plates are passed down long tables. Strangers leave as friends.
