Q: What time should I arrive?
A: Please arrive by 4pm to allow time to grab your welcome drink, get comfortable, and take in the beautiful scenery before food is served.
Q: Where is Open Fire Dining Club located?
A: All our dinners unfold at Torr Vale Mill, Torrvale Rd, High Peak, SK22 3HS
Q: What is the best way to get there?
A: We encourage all guests to travel by train, with New Mills Central Station located just a few hundred yards from the dining location.
Q: Is there parking on site?
A: Yes, there is parking available directly at the venue but it is limited and we advise public transport where possible.
Q: Is there a dress code?
A: We recommend smart casual, but please bring layers given the outside nature of the event, and wear appropriate footwear such as trainers. We advise guests not to wear high heels or any footwear unsuitable for grass or stone flooring.
Q: If rain is predicted, will the event still go ahead?
A: We’ve put measures in place to keep all our guests comfortable, including a stretch tent set among the trees that provides full shelter in the event of light rain. In the case of severe weather, we will notify guests in advance and will likely look to reschedule the event.
Q: What if i have dietary requirements?
A: We’re pleased to offer vegetarian and pescatarian options for this event. Due to the nature of the menu, we’re unable to accommodate other dietary requirements or allergies. Please email events@openfirediningclub.com in advance to request your option.
Q: Is there a bar?
A: A bar will be available for additional drink purchases.
Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: Due to the nature of the event — including the use of open fire — we have a strict no-pet policy.
